Projects

I am a Civil Engineering graduate with hands-on experience across residential, highway, and institutional construction projects, currently pursuing a Master's in Engineering Management with a construction focus at Cornell University. My interest in construction began early, shaped by direct exposure to real projects and the process of turning drawings into built, functioning spaces.

Over time, that curiosity grew into practical experience, working on site execution, residential construction management and highway infrastructure projects in India, and later applying structured U.S. based practices through estimating, scheduling, bidding analysis, and risk management. I am particularly drawn to general project management within the construction domain and general contracting environment, where planning, coordination, and on-site execution across diverse teams drive successful project delivery.

This portfolio reflects my journey from hands-on field exposure to formal project planning and preconstruction analysis. Through these projects, I aim to demonstrate my ability to manage construction work from early planning through execution, with a strong focus on constructability, coordination, and value-based decision-making.

01
Fischell Band Center
Flagship Project
Preconstruction & General Contracting Simulation USA

Fischell Band Center – Cornell University

Simulated a full General Contractor preconstruction and proposal process for a 4,625 GSF institutional facility at Cornell University. Contributed to cost estimating, CPM scheduling, subcontractor coordination, staffing planning, value engineering, and risk management under a formal RFP structure. Developed a GMP-level estimate from design drawings, evaluated constructability and site logistics, and proposed value-driven solutions aligned with owner priorities.

Subcontractor Bid Analysis
USA (Simulated)
Drywall & Metal Framing (CSI Division 09)

Subcontractor Bid Analysis - Classroom Renovation

Performed a detailed GC-style subcontractor bid analysis for a classroom renovation project, focusing on CSI-based scope leveling, cost-risk evaluation, schedule reliability, and best-value selection. Compared multiple bids, identified scope gaps and compliance risks, developed a weighted evaluation matrix, and prepared a final subcontractor recommendation based on cost, risk, and constructability rather than lowest price.

Residential Building
India
Near Completion
Project Management & Site Execution

Residential Building Project – India

Managed a residential construction project from initial client discussions through design coordination, material procurement, and on-site execution supervision. Responsibilities included contractor coordination, schedule tracking, quality control, and progress monitoring, with direct involvement in day-to-day site decision-making and client communication through to near completion.

C&D Waste Management
Sustainability
Sustainable Construction & Tech-Enabled Solution

Smart India Hackathon 2023 – C&D Waste Management

Developed a sustainable, technology-driven solution for effective management of construction and demolition (C&D) waste as part of Smart India Hackathon 2023. The project combined recycled aggregate-based self-compacting concrete with a centralized digital platform to monitor waste generation, transportation, recycling, and reuse. Focused on circular economy principles, stakeholder coordination, and scalable implementation for urban infrastructure.

Highway Infrastructure
Internship
Design, Estimation & Site Exposure

Highway Infrastructure Internship Projects – India

Worked on multiple highway infrastructure components during an internship, gaining exposure to design interpretation, quantity estimation, and construction execution across different project elements.

▪ Stormwater Drain Project: Prepared quantity take-offs and cost estimates for stormwater drainage works, supporting planning and execution decisions for roadway infrastructure.

▪ Box Culvert Works: Assisted in design understanding, estimation, and site coordination for box culvert construction, focusing on sequencing and constructability.

▪ Pavement Milling Study: Conducted a pavement milling analysis to understand rehabilitation processes, material quantities, and construction methodology for roadway maintenance.

Bridge/Flyover Execution
India
Site Supervision & Structural Works

Bridge / Flyover Execution – India

Contributed to selected phases of bridge and flyover construction, including structural works, staging, and execution monitoring. Gained on-site exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects, coordination across teams, and construction sequencing, with experience documented through site photographs and drone visuals.

Current Interest

I am actively exploring Summer 2026 internships and full-time opportunities in Construction Project Management, Construction, General Contracting, and project and product management.
